Stephen attained a degree in PR & Marketing before joining the world’s leading independent brand valuation consultancy, Brand Finance where he was responsible for PR and research. Increasing Brand Finance’s profile he produced a range of significant reports including an important annual study into the attitudes of City Equity Analysts towards marketing. His studies on accountancy practices were used

by the Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington as part of their conflict of interest investigation. In addition Stephen helped to advise branded organisations how to maximise shareholder value through effective brand management.

 

In 2000 Stephen joined Superbrands directing it’s UK marketing activities. In 2003 following the departure of the organisation’s founder, Stephen became UK Managing Director overseeing two years of significant growth. In January 2005 Stephen returned to a marketing focused role becoming Superbrands European Marketing Director. He chairs five independent Superbrands Councils in the UK.
