Fleur Britten

Commissioning Editor

Sunday Times Style Magazine

Fleur graduated from Edinburgh University in 1997 with a first class Masters degree in Psychology. Her first job out of university was as a radio reporter at the Edinburgh Festival. Fleur then won an internship at British Vogue and went on to be a stylist and scriptwriter for the BBC fashion programme ‘Looking Good’, and similarly at Channel 4 for ‘She’s Gotta Have It’.

In 2000, Fleur hit the ‘off’ switch of her TV career to pursue her journalistic ambitions. She became staff fashion writer at the Sunday Telegraph Magazine, but left in 2004 to go freelance as a features writer. Fleur also worked on the pilot issue of Vogue China, where she was Deputy Beauty Editor.

Fleur was then commissioned to write ‘A Hedonist’s Guide to Milan’ – a top-end ‘little black book’ on Milan’s best restaurants, hotels, nightlife, sights and shops. Now she is Commissioning Editor at the Sunday Times Style Magazine, where she writes, commissions and edits features.
