Vanessa was invited to join Nielsen Media Research, the world’s leading provider of advertising measurement and information services, as Commercial Director for the UK and AdEx International in 2002. Based on her achievements Vanessa was promoted to Managing Director in 2003.
Underpinned by her early career at KPMG and further senior management positions she brings a good deal of insight and expertise relating to the media sector and ‘Superbrands’ at home and abroad.
A former director of the Financial Times magazine group, Vanessa has a lively interest in the financial as well as the consumer impact of brand strength.
Known for her energetic approach, client focus and lively debate, she is a regular speaker at conferences and seminars spanning several markets.
